Revital_IA is a municipal artificial intelligence platform designed to help small municipalities optimize public resources and boost the local economy without increasing the operational workload of local councils.

The project was created to address a reality that is increasingly common across many municipalities: progressive depopulation, difficulties in optimizing local resources, and a digital divide that threatens to leave rural areas behind. In this context, Revital_IA transforms dispersed information into structured, accessible knowledge, enabling local councils to gain a clearer understanding of their territory without increasing their operational workload.

How does Revital_IA work?

Revital_IA is built on a modular and scalable architecture, designed to adapt to municipalities of different sizes and levels of digital maturity.

Territorial knowledge base
It integrates existing municipal information and transforms it into structured, up-to-date, and reusable knowledge.

Intelligent agents
Through a chat interface, they enable queries about services, resources, economic activity, or practical municipal information, for both citizens and municipal staff.

Continuous enrichment
Each interaction improves the quality of the system, expanding and refining knowledge about the territory.

Platform modules

Revital_IA is structured into three major functional modules, which can be activated progressively according to the needs of each municipality:

Energy and sustainability
Enables decision-making on energy savings and efficiency based on the analysis of municipal electricity consumption and usage patterns in public facilities.

Economic activity, tourism, and local agenda
Allows local councils to manage and stimulate the municipality’s economic, tourism, and social activity through simple queries, making it easier to access information on businesses, services, and events. The platform maintains an active, up-to-date local agenda, with municipal supervision when needed and automatic sharing on social media.

Municipal services and administrative procedures
Centralizes information on public services, facilities, and common procedures, simplifying internal management and improving citizen services.

Current project status

Currently, Revital_IA is in an advanced stage of development and validation together with four pilot municipalities —Ayora, Ademuz, Alcàsser, and Sedaví—, working on real use cases and specific municipal management needs. The platform is expected to be fully operational in the coming months, incorporating the insights gained during this pilot phase.

A collaborative project with European support

Revital-IA is a project funded by the Unión Europea – NextGenerationEU, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), through the RETECH initiative. It is coordinated by ValgrAI and developed in collaboration with the Diputación de Valencia and the Universitat Jaume I de Castelló, applying artificial intelligence to support decision-making and local digital transformation.
